Baday..

So if you all don't know like me until five minutes ago a Baday is this... (see picture to the left)

While watch house hunters on HGTV my mom tends to point out the baday and states "isent that wonderful." Not thinking shes serious it was shocking when I found out she was.

She further explains it as this "Its something ya can wash your privates with...like a sink for your butt."
THINK MY THOUGHT: DISTURBED

"You were my exception"

After lines like this in most romantic comedies , such as "Hes just not that into you" two people begin to mac it and every girl's heart melts and every guy begins to cringe because now he has to live up to a brand new standard.

MY THOUGHT IS: face it ladies you are not going to meet the Edward Cullen of your dreams.

These fictional characters are made up for a reason... the people creating them cannot find a perfect man so they have to pull one out of thin air and make a story about them.

Now don't place me as a pissed off feminist who holds some type of anger against imperfect men because of this statement. I'm simply putting it out there, that your not going to get perfect ever! So all forms of media should stop showing you this.

What you are going to have to do is have to care about someone by accepting their flaws. Granted if the flaws are to much for you obviously break up with them and move on to the next. But at one point and time you are going to have to start accepting things.

My point is not to lower your standards but don't hold someone up to the standard that they are going to have to bring you to a forest of violets and confess there undying love for you.

I am a sucker for things like "Twilight" myself.
But sometimes we need a little reality check.
Don't settle ... it is possible to find someone you really care for... just not the way the romantic novels tell you things happen.

Innovation or lack there of...

Currently, in my world everyone seems to call themselves an "innovator"... Innovation, is defined by Websters dictionary as: the introduction of something new , or a new idea or method.

MY THOUGHT IS: How can people create innovations when everything that is created is based off something old.

For example...

I am surrounded by aspiring artists, photographers, fashion designers ect.

Constantly every now and then out of this group of people true innovators arise. But this is rare. My point is .. how can certain people call themselves innovators when what they are learning, using to build their style and creativity on, is something that is a METHOD that has already been established by someone else.

Granted today we may not come across another Plato or Aristotle. Or would be lucky if we stumbled across another TRUE artistic bunch such as Andy Warhol's Factory People.
But the day someone proves to be a true innovator ,to invent or establish a specific new way of mastering their craft , will prove to have overcome one of the greatest challenges of today's modern day society.

At least in my eyes.

So to those I have mentioned above ... including myself the key i believe in all this is, to remember who truly was the innovator in your craft and to not get caught up in "your scene", because in reality you probably don't understand what true innovation is .
